PRIVACY POLICY
Single Parent Provision (or “SPP”) operates SingleParentProvision.org (or “Website”). It is SPP’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect while operating the Website.
SECTION 1 - Information We Collect
Like most website operators, SPP collects non-personally-identifying information that web browsers and servers typically make available such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. SPP's purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how SPP's visitors use the Website so that we may improve the Website and possibly our services and programs.
SPP also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses for logged in users and for users leaving comments. SPP only discloses logged in user IP addresses under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information as described below.
When you create an account and complete certain transactions with SPP such as an event registration or donation, we collect the personally-identifying information you give us such as your name, address, gender, and email address. The amount and type of information that SPP gathers depends on the nature of the transaction. Those who engage in transactions with SPP are asked to provide additional information, including as necessary the personal and financial information required to process those transactions. In each case, SPP collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with SPP. SPP does not disclose personally-identifying information other than as described below.
SECTION 2 - Consent
As part of the account registration or creation process, you become added to our contact list which we use to send emails about our organization such as newsletters and other updates. We also may use your information to contact you directly.
When you provide us with personally-identifying information to create an account, register for an event, make a donation, place an order, or similar transaction, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.
If after you become added to our contact list and you change your mind, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you, for the continued collection, use or disclosure of your information, at anytime, by contacting us at info@singleparentprovision.org.
