As a member of the Special Needs Children's Team, you will be paired to work one on one with a special needs child to assist them in a larger childcare or youth room. Previous experience working with Special Needs children is a plus. We also ask that at the end of the night, the team members help break down the resources and supplies and organize them in a manner for the Tear-Down team to quickly load up the truck. Many hands make light work, so we don't anticipate this taking more than 15-30 minutes.

Each person in your household who would like to serve the night of the event in any role and who is 18 or older will need to complete the registration process. Teens not accompanied by an adult must also complete a volunteer registration. Children and youth who will be accompanied by an adult can be included with an adult registration; during the sign up process you may designate if that child will be a volunteer or a participant. Please note than any youth planning to volunteer will be placed in a 5th grade childcare room or younger.

Specific details about where and when to meet and other important information will be included in the confirmation email you will receive upon registering. With the exception of the set-up team, all serving areas require a background check be performed. The link to complete this will also be included in the confirmation email.

Dinner will be provided for all volunteers.

It takes nearly 400 volunteers to make this night possible, so THANK YOU for recognizing the value of this event and choosing to contribute! We appreciate you!
