Break Time West Volunteer

This Break Time will take place at the Valley Community Center in West Des Moines. Break Time is possible because of the many hands and feet working to invest in the lives of single parents and their families. Would you consider joining us? Doing so is not only a blessing for the receiving families but also for those who volunteer!

As a volunteer at Break Time, you will have an opportunity to make a loving impression on the kids who attend while having a lot of fun! By contributing to the success of Break Time, you allow single parents time for a much needed break to recharge, and you show them that there are people who recognize their needs and want to contribute in helping to meet them. One mom who attended had this to say:

“I just want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone that made Break Time a success! I am so happy that something like this exists to help single parents. Thanks to all that made it happen!”

Volunteers 18 and older are required to complete a background check prior to serving. If you have not done so with Single Parent Provision in the past two years, you may complete the application here or by selecting the link in the confirmation email you will receive upon registering.
