This Single Moms Group meets Wednesday evenings at Valley Church in West Des Moines. The group meets on a weekly basis, September through April*, allowing single moms time to connect with others walking a similar journey and, together, seek what matters most. At each gathering, single moms can expect time to share, listen, laugh, and grow while participating in relevant studies in a healthy, encouraging environment.

Study: In addition to the connection time that happens, this group will be going through a study focused on emotionally healthy relationships. We all have relationships in our lives and would all benefit from those relationships being stronger and healthier. Through our study, we will grow in practical relationship skills, including clarity of expectations, integrity, listening, and conflict resolution and will learn how to develop mature, loving relationships with others, God, and ourselves.

Dinner is provided for moms and their children from 6:00-6:30PM with the moms then meeting from 6:30-8:00PM.

Children and youth programming happens during the group meeting time through Valley Church. Nursery care is available for children 0-2, Valley Kids Club is available from 3-years-old through 5th grade, and middle school programming is available for those in grades 6th-8th.
