Have you ever had someone unexpectedly enter your life or set of circumstances and make SUCH a big impact? That describes Jake. While we've known Jake from a distance for quite some time (as he is the Youth Pastor at one of our Church Partners - New Hope Church in Adel), in 2021, Jake jumped in cannonball style to be an enormous blessing to our mission. Jake was part of the A/V team for the Single Moms Christmas Dinner. There were big shoes to fill in this role this year, and he (along with the others who helped in this role) stepped right in to help make for a seamless transition.

In addition to the typical A/V needs of this event, new this year was the live stream element for those who participated through our pick-up option. Jake took great care in making sure this feature was operable and accurate leading up to the event, which made the first year of us offering that option a SUCCESS!

In ADDITION to helping with these important technical elements, Jake led the volunteer efforts of our 1st-2nd grade children's room for the event! He rallied his church to volunteer in this room which resulted in an ABUNDANCE of helpers ready to serve in this room.
