Single Parent Provision is seeking a part-time Family Services Coordinator who is mission driven and eager to join the work God is doing in and through SPP to reach, serve and champion single parent families throughout central Iowa.

It is with great delight that we announce that registration for this year's Single Moms Christmas Dinner is OPEN! This is the event we look forward to all year; the event that treats single mothers to an elegant evening with an inspirational program where they are the guest of honor. This year's event is being held in downtown Des Moines at Veterans Auditorium at the Iowa Event Center. This beautiful venue will comfortably accommodate the over 400 mothers and 700 children we are preparing for.

Each year we look forward to our annual Single Moms Christmas Dinner, and this year is no different. In it's 5th year, we are thrilled to be holding it in beautiful downtown Des Moines at the Iowa Event Center on Saturday, December 10.

This year as we busily prepare for 400 single mothers and 700 children to attend, we have table sponsorship opportunities available for businesses, organizations, small groups, co-worker, families, etc. who would like to contribute to making this special night possible.  If you would like to sponsor a table or have questions about doing so, please contact us at 515.868.9252 or reach out to our Table Sponsor Chair, Becki Ramsey, directly at bramsey@singleparentprovision.org. We are looking forward to celebrating single fathers at our Pre-Father's Day event, happening Sunday, June 12. From 11:30-12:30 single fathers and their children are invited to join us at Columbus Park (just a half mile south of the Iowa Cubs stadium) for a hearty lunch and fun activities to do with the kids. Then it's off to the Iowa Cubs game, as every registered father in attendance will receive tickets for themselves and their children to attend the 1:05 game.

All single fathers are invited to attend regardless if their children will be present.

BMW of Des Moines has selected Single Parent Provision as their Give Back Partner for the month of May! During this month, BMW will help raise awareness of our organization, programs, and events and will generously contribute a portion of each new car sale to SPP.

We are thankful for businesses like BMW of Des Moines who recognize the unique needs of single parent families and desire to partner with us in helping to meet them.

Single Parent Provision will have a table at the Eastview Community Center Summer Kick-Off and Open House this Saturday, May 16th from 11:30-1:00! The community center is located at 4101 E 42 Street in Des Moines (42nd and Hubbell). This is a free event and a great time for families to enjoy lunch, inflatables, games and prizes! Come join us!

On Monday, May 18th between 5:00 and 8:00 PM, the Paradise Pointe Chick-fil-A (on Mills Civic Pkwy) will be generously donating a portion of the evening's sales to Single Parent Provision! That night, by giving your Chick-fil-A receipt to a Single Parent Provision volunteer or designating your purchase to SPP at the drive-thru window, you are helping to further our mission and invest in the lives of single parent families...all by eating delicious chicken!
