2024 SMCD: 2nd Grade Children's Room Team

As a member of the 2nd Grade Children's Room Team, you will be responsible for loving on our guests in 2nd grade which may include any or all of the following: engaging and connecting with the children through active play and participation; assisting with meal and gift distribution; supervision of bathroom breaks; and helping children to demonstrate courteous behavior and good listening for the special guest.

We also ask that at the end of the night, you help break down items from your room to allow optimal efficiency for the Tear-Down Team to quickly load the truck. Many hands make light work, so we don't anticipate this taking more than 15-30 minutes.

Each person in your household who would like to volunteer the night of the event (regardless of age) will need to complete the registration process. Any youth desiring to volunteer may do so in a Children's Room (5th grade and younger) or as part of the set up or tear down teams. Children who need care while parent(s) serve may be included with an adult registration.

Specific details about where and when to meet and other important information will be included in the confirmation email you will receive upon registering. With the exception of the set-up team, all serving areas require a background check be performed on all individuals 18 and older.
