This Single Moms Group meets Wednesday evenings at Westchester Evangelical Free Church in Des Moines. The group meets on a weekly basis, September through April*, allowing single moms time to connect with others walking a similar journey and, together, seek what matters most. At each gathering, single moms can expect time to share, listen, laugh, and grow while participating in relevant studies in a healthy, encouraging environment.

Study: In addition to the connection time that happens, this group will be going through the study Single and Parenting: Hard Work, Real Hope. As a single parent, you know there are few people who truly understand the unique challenges you face. You deeply desire to do what's best for your kids, but sometimes you worry you aren't. At times, just surviving the day feels like a victory. So what can you do? In this study, you’ll discover how to deal with your deep-down worries and day-to-day struggles, while learning and discussing some amazing parenting strategies and hope-filled insights.

Dinner is provided for all from 5:30-6:30 PM with moms then meeting from 6:30-8:00PM. Specific group meeting room information will be provided in the confirmation email upon registration.

Children & youth programming happens during the group meeting time and is provided through Westchester Church, for ages birth - high school. More information about children's programming can be found on the Westchester Church website: https://westchestercares.org/ministries/children
